The easy sunscreens were full of chemical filters. The clean ones were a slow, greasy chore. So we made the one that didn't exist.

Every parent knows the trade-off. The sprays you can use on a moving target are loaded with the actives you'd rather skip. The genuinely clean mineral ones come as thick lotions you have to rub in, one limb at a time, while everyone melts down.

Kennedy and Ada is a clean, non-nano zinc sunscreen in a proper full-size trigger spray. Mist it on, rub it in, get out the door. Same standard you'd want on a newborn, fast enough for a whole carful of kids.

Why it's different

Clean enough to trust. Fast enough to use.

Most sunscreens make you pick one. This one doesn't.

One big spray

A full-size trigger bottle, so arms, legs, backs and squirming kids are covered in seconds. No squeezing, no greasy palms.

Mineral, not chemical

Non-nano zinc oxide does the work. No oxybenzone, no octinoxate, nothing that needs a chemistry degree to feel good about.

Clean to the core

Fragrance-free, on a light skin-loving oil base instead of a watery mix of fillers. A formula the whole family can wear every day.

Refill, don't rebuy

Keep the bottle, top it up with a refill pouch. Less plastic, less cost, the same clean spray season after season.

The honest label

What's in it. What's not.

What goes in

  • + Non-nano zinc oxide
  • + Light, skin-loving oils & esters
  • + Broad-spectrum UVA & UVB protection
  • + Vitamin E, to keep it fresh

What stays out

  • Chemical UV filters
  • Added fragrance & parfum
  • Titanium dioxide
  • PEGs and aerosol propellants
How it works

Three steps, then go.

Built to be used, which is the only sunscreen that actually protects anyone.

01

Shake

A quick shake wakes up the minerals so every spray goes on even.

02

Spray

Mist it over skin, or into your hands first for little faces. Coverage in seconds.

03

Go

Rub in and you're out the door. Top up every couple of hours in the sun.

Like all spray sunscreens, spray into your hands and then apply to the face, and use enough to coat skin fully. We'll print the simple how-to right on the bottle.

Named for our two best reasons

The whole point, in two names.

Kennedy and Ada are why this exists. A sunscreen we actually feel good about putting on them, and quick enough to get on before they bolt for the water.

If it's good enough for our two, it's good enough for your crew.

Our story

Why we made this.

A few summers ago, on a trip overseas, I noticed families reaching for sunscreen the way we reach for bug spray. A quick mist over the kids, and back to the water. Back home, the easy sprays were full of the chemical filters I had been trying to avoid, and the genuinely clean ones came as thick lotions nobody wanted to stop and rub in.

I have two daughters, Kennedy and Ada. Getting sunscreen on them was a daily negotiation, and I hated that the cleanest option was always the slowest. Every bottle seemed to make me choose: protect them well, or protect them quickly. Never both.

So we set out to build the one that did not exist. A clean, non-nano zinc sunscreen with no chemical filters and no fragrance, in a full-size spray you can actually use on a whole crew in seconds. Made in Canada, refillable so you are not tossing a bottle every few weeks, and held to a standard I am glad to put on my own kids. If it is good enough for Kennedy and Ada, it is good enough for yours.
